Every "kindergator" in our class did ALL of their homework last week and half of the students did extra!!

Addison's CEOTY (Classified Employee of the Year) and TOTY (Teacher of the Year) will be riding in the parade- 10:00 AM.

This week we are studying the following:
  • Reading - Students will be practicing their story retelling skills.  We will be working to include the main characters, setting, problem, and solution in our retelling.
  • Writing - We will be using our creative skills to transform our letter of the week into something else and then write about it.  Adding describing words, will be our goal for this week.
  • Math - Students will continue to work on their counting skills and writing numerals correctly.  We will begin our study of shapes with 2-dimensional shapes.
  • S.S. - Identifying, describing, comparing, and contrasting the United States flag and the Georgia flag, will be our focus in social studies.
  • Science - Students will be learning about what engineers do.  We will also be sorting and classifying objects based on physical properties of matter.
